🧱 How the BKN migration works in practice
The transition to the new $BKN contract is designed to be operationally simple, while maintaining full continuity of balances and positions.
The process depends on where tokens are currently held:
⏺Centralized exchanges (e.g. MEXC, BitMart):
Migration is handled automatically. No action required.
⏺Staking positions (Brickken portal):
Staked tokens are migrated automatically to the new contract.
⏺Self-custody wallets (e.g. MetaMask):
A manual swap is required via the official migration portal.
Key parameters:
⏺1:1 migration:
Each existing $BKN token is exchanged for one new $BKN token.
⏺No change in holdings:
Balances remain unchanged throughout the process.
⏺Defined migration window:
The portal will remain open until the 25th of July to allow full participation.
The objective is straightforward:
upgrade the infrastructure while preserving all economic positions.
